MESSAGE FROM SCOTT HARDY
Good morning everyone! January is done! It's February, and I hope your first full month of 2021 was productive and successful for you! We had a crazy busy month with more investigations launching last week than ever before. That's great news for consumers!

My family and I had a blast last week up in the mountains of Show Low, Arizona. It's 1,935 meters high and cold! We were hit with multiple feet of snow, so we went sledding, tubing, and frankly, just enjoyed playing in the snow. As a boy who grew up in the desert, the fluffy cold white stuff is neat! The place we rented was right on the golf course, so we ended up sledding down the hill into the fairway. One day Sydney said to me "Daddy, the snow is so much fun, but after fifteen minutes I can't feel my face or my fingers! It's so cold! I almost want to go inside!" I laughed and said, "You sound like me! You're 12! You're not supposed to want to get out of the cold so quickly!" She replied "I almost want to go inside, but maybe I should do just one more sled run first!" She then tromped up the hill to go down it again (and again).

My beautiful bride and I were walking the dog on Tuesday morning in the snow, and it was beautiful. Big, chunky, snowflakes were falling down with a light breeze. We walked down a cul-de-sac, and by the time we turned around, our footprints were already covered by the snow! We only got a mile in that walk, it was really cold, but it was beautiful! We also found that our dog Barkley loves the snow. Our little white maltipoo couldn't get enough of it. He would hop and leap through the snow drifts. Jumping and chasing the girls down the hill. Maybe somewhere back in his lineage they were hunters in the snow. That would explain why he's white! It's good to know he'll enjoy it as we try to go to the mountains more in the coming years.

That's all for now! Make it a GREAT week!

Warm Regards,
Scott Hardy
