Good morning everyone! I'm happy to report we made it home safely from our anniversary trip to Hawaii! This year is fifteen years married to my beautiful bride. We celebrated by heading to Hawaii. It was a last minute trip of sorts, just booked in January once we found out how strict Hawaii is for visitors. All of us had to test negative for covid within 72 hours of our departing flight, and they make you mask up everywhere at the hotels, even by the pool, unless you're
actively swimming or eating or drinking. No covid test before you arrive? Mandatory quarantine, and the hotels check your papers from the State of Hawaii. Your covid test results arrive after you get there? Too late. You're stuck quarantining. Very, very strict, but, we felt safe there and to be vacationing again was wonderful! When we left, they were at a less than 1% positivity rate for covid tests!
Now, it's back to work, and thankfully the team did an awesome job last week. I was able to take my first true vacation in a long time! The girls also loved the trip. Zip lining, water slides and playing in the waves topped their happy lists! For me? All of the above plus scuba diving, Jacuzzi time, and virgin piña coladas!
If you can, book your own trip to Hawaii! Flights are much cheaper than usual, and the islands are beautiful! Just make sure to follow the State of Hawaii guidelines to a T! It's absolutely worth it!
Happy, happy anniversary to my beautiful bride! Thank you for loving and supporting me all these years, even when Top Class Actions was just a huge debt on our credit cards and Hawaiian vacations were a dream to be had "some day."
