Good morning everyone! It's the middle of May, here in Phoenix our kids are getting ready to get out of school, and it's heating up! It's heating up so much that I'm getting up at 6 AM every day. Yep, 6 AM. That's definitely not the usual thing for me. I've always been more a night owl, but, since I stopped drinking booze (2.5 years now), and have slowly but steadily worked on getting healthier, I guess it's a natural progression.
This morning my beautiful bride and I were up at 6, out the door by 6:15, and cranked through three miles in wonderful weather. We got home, got the girls ready and I took them to school. I was back in time to shower and get ready for another ABC 15 interview with legendary investigative reporter Joe Ducey. It's amazing what you can get accomplished when you're up early! I also quit a bad habit: checking my phone at bedtime. That sucked away 30 minutes a night! Now, when it's time to go to bed, I read for about 30 minutes then hit the sack. It's definitely having a positive change on my sleep! Since I'm now an early bird, that's even more important!
