Good morning, fantastic viewers! I hope you had a wonderful week and are rocking and rolling into summer! Massive amounts of heat means earrrrly mornings for me and my beautiful bride. We're now up at 5:00 a.m. so we can be on the road as the sun is just peeking over the horizon. It's a bummer that even so early, it's still
warm (low 80s), but it keeps us out of the direct sun for the first part of our walk so it helps. Who knew we'd be going to bed by 9:00 p.m.! When I see invites from friends for dinner at eight I immediately reject them with a "Why so late?!?" response. You would think I was too young to embrace the early bird dinner special at 5:30 p.m., but you do what you gotta do so you get enough rest for a 5:00 a.m. start.
The bright side to this (other than living a healthier life than I used to) is all that extra time I have in the morning. My beautiful bride and I get four swift miles in, cool down for a few minutes, and enjoy a little coffee by the pool while Aubrey swims—all before I used to wake up! That's a heck of a lot of productive family time before I get swallowed by work for the day, and it's pretty awesome. I hope you're enjoying your summer!
