Good morning, everyone! I'm sorry to do this to you. It's come to this. This will be my last letter to you. From Phoenix. For two months. Because Phoenix is the surface of the sun. Phoenix is so hot right now, my beautiful bride and I were up at 5:00 a.m., on the road before the sun crested the horizon, and it was 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius for my Canadian friends). Yep, that's hot, and after we
wrapped up our four miles I was still sweating (gross, I know, sorry) for fifteen minutes. My body just couldn't cool down fast enough.
So, that's why this is my last update to you. From Phoenix. For a few months. I'm running away to the mountains of Show Low, Arizona, where it'll be a cool 60 degrees first thing in the morning.
