MESSAGE FROM SCOTT HARDY
Good morning, everyone! I'm writing this to you while looking out my window, hoping for rain, in Show Low, Arizona. Like many of you (and 100% of my company), I work remotely. I can work anywhere I have internet. I'm about to test out Starlink here in Show Low. Starlink is a global internet service provider operating off a network of thousands of satellites launched by SpaceX. SpaceX's goal? Internet access, anywhere (except for the north and south poles), at an affordable rate.

Ubiquitous internet access is allowing more and more people to work remotely. That was a positive side effect of COVID—it forced massive employers to let their employees work from home. Today, I had to call in to my local newspaper for help. I was speaking to a woman with a slight Filipino accent named Summer and I heard a rooster crowing in the background. It was 7:00 a.m. there, and she was working from home rather than a big call center, all because she had access to the internet. That's pretty darn cool. I get to work from the mountains, no phone or cell service required, because I'm using satellites orbiting the earth a few hundred miles above us. As long as I have power, I've got internet. That's super cool. This exceptional call center agent took care of my needs (Dad's getting his newspaper again!) and did it all from the comfort of her own home, thanks to the internet.

I'm heading out for now. I'm chasing down some more clients to kick off a few new settlements, then it's off to the driving range with my beautiful bride. I'm hoping that if I hit more balls there, I'll lose fewer on my next round of golf. (I only lost six last time!  Hooray! LOL.)

That's all for now! Make it a great week!

Warm Regards,
Scott Hardy
