Good morning, everyone! I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I was at an event in Del Mar, California, supporting the Special Operations Forces Support Foundation. It’s a group that helps with the mental health of our warriors from all branches of our armed forces.
I met some terrific people, golfed with an active duty Navy Seal (he crushed that golf ball and won the long drive competition, even though there were actual pro golfers there!), and had a great time with my friends old and new. I look forward to next year!
I arrived at the airport on Sunday to find my flight was delayed seven hours. Ouch! All I wanted to do was get back to my beautiful bride and kids, so I turned right around, rented a car, and drove for five hours. I got home several hours before I would have otherwise, so I got to enjoy slow-cooked brisket and other yumminess prepared by my beautiful bride. I’m a lucky man and happy I drove home rather than waiting for the flight!
