Good morning, everyone! Another busy week here at Top Class Actions. We've been working hard to close out October and run fast into November. I'm busy dreaming big, while making sure we take care of you, the consumer, our faithful viewer. It's weird to think that sometimes my job is just sitting at my computer, writing down notes about ways to help the business. For so many years, my job was always doing something. Answering a call, fixing a computer, having one-on-one meetings with people, but now a large part of my job is strategizing ways to
grow the business in different, and hopefully better, ways!
I'm a member of Vistage. It's a worldwide group of thousands of CEOs who break up
into individual Vistage Boards and meet once a month to talk about issues facing their businesses. Every business on my Vistage board is different. One sells insurance to transport your corpse if you die on vacation, another runs a PR agency, another runs a scientific research company figuring out new ways to improve radio signals — then there's me, the internet guy (along with a number of other business owners). While we're all quite different personalities, with quite different businesses, we all run into similar issues with budgets, marketing, and even people.
Last week, we met and had another great meeting. It's immensely helpful having someone to talk to who has been through the same growing pains as me. I was really struggling with an issue stressing me out big-time, and after talking it over with my Vistage board, I figured out I actually didn't have a problem. I just needed an outside, unbiased, professional opinion by extremely qualified executives to help release me from my internal struggle. I left that meeting feeling like I had a huge weight lifted from my shoulders. This happens regularly!

To be clear, I wasn't paid to talk about Vistage. I'm mentioning it because if I had joined sooner, I could have saved my company (and me) a lot of hassle and money. I want to share these secrets to success with you, so those of you who dream big like me can hopefully get there faster, and with fewer pitfalls, than I did.
My beautiful bride is calling my name, so I think it's batter up to help with the girls. How the heck am I supposed to remember how to simplify fractions? I can calculate the value of a company within seconds, but when you start throwing exponents at me, I get flustered!
