I noticed a submission from a viewer on Saturday that said, "I can’t say anything without a lawyer." Those types of submissions typically don’t go very far. How are we supposed to know what type of lawyer you need?
Unsolicited text message lawyer? Labor law lawyer? Bad drug or medical device lawyer? Maybe you want to file a whistleblower lawsuit? We need a little help here…
Something to remember when you’re submitting your issue is that we need details to help you. While you think you have a gangbusters case, and you want to be lead plaintiff for it, it takes hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars, to litigate a single class action. That means that we need details to help you.
Have no fear! If you want to be lead plaintiff and the case law works, the law firm litigating that case will jump all over it, signing you up. But they need to be excited about the case before committing, that means giving some details in your start a class action submission.
The law firm litigating wants to make it work. They don’t want to have to run advertising to find a new potential plaintiff. If it’s a good case, they want to file it ASAP. Don’t be afraid to include those details, and make sure to return calls, texts or emails.
On the home front, I can’t wait to see my beautiful bride and girls soon! The wonderful thing about smart devices is that I see the alerts as my family is communicating with each other.
